- Firearms and ammunition are marked as restricted, and a sale with them can't be finished until the licence has been checked
- Each firearm sold needs its serial number, one per unit
- Connect Gunwise and the licence is looked up there at checkout, and the sale is recorded in your Gunwise dealer register for you
- Without Gunwise, staff confirm they've seen a current licence that matches the buyer
- Tilo doesn't keep licence details: anything Gunwise needs is held encrypted only until it's sent

Good to know
What do I need to run it?
A tablet, laptop or computer with an up-to-date web browser. Nothing to install. Barcode scanners that type like a keyboard work straight away, and Tilo prints to any printer your device can print to, including receipt and label printers.
Can I take card payments?
Yes. Each register links to its own Windcave card terminal, so the amount is sent to the terminal and the result comes straight back to the sale.
What if the internet drops?
The sale you're on is kept on the device as you go and saved as soon as you're back online, so nothing is lost. Taking payment needs a connection.
Do I need Gunwise?
Only if you sell firearms or ammunition and want the licence checked in Gunwise and your dealer register kept for you. Without it, staff confirm they've seen a current licence. Shops that don't sell restricted items never see any of it.
Can I bring my products across?
If you sell online with WooCommerce, Tilo brings your products across in one go, with their categories, brands, photos and stock. Otherwise, add them in Tilo.
Where is my data kept?
Tilo's database is hosted in Sydney, Australia. Each store's data is kept apart by rules in the database itself, and every connection is encrypted.
